Today morning Sombody asked me about God

I meet sometimes suddenly some one with a burning problem. Today morning as usual I went for morning walk with my wife. We daily walk to the shops where we can buy milk and news papers, not being happy with unreliable home deliveries.Today morning I wore pancha , lalchi , and a shawl. i was also carrying a walking sticvk which I bought at Lepakshi in our latest trip to Vijayawada I was dressed as if I was on my way to give a pravachanam So I do not blame the person whom I met and who thought I knew!
He was a 50 year old man with a few flowers in his hands
He stopped me and asked me whether I could speak Thelugu
I said yes.
He then asked. "Do you know good Thelugu ?
I said I could mange reasonable Thelugu
He asked me then " Do you think God Exists? I met a person who told me just now that God does not exist"
I said "I do not know"
He assured me ," Sir He exists Otherwise How can you explain the creation/"
"Well then if you know , why do you ask me !"
That man said Because .You look old and look like a daivagna (దైవజ్ఞ )’
Then I told him" From What I read ,experienced and understood .things of faith are beyond Tharkam. You can neither prove existence or non existence . You can only tell others why think there is God or No god . Depending on their faith, either they agree or disagreewith you "
He left dissatisfied, for not being able to get the endorsement he hoped for.
Many believe a few of their experiences from uncontrolledand &unplanned experiments prove beyond doubt their point of contention
Their tribe is always on increase. May god bless them
can prove to ot

  1. Yes Sir; so many arguments both for and against! But, both are extremely unhappy or annoyed or angry or… if the reply is “I do not know”! But often this theoretical stance translates in practice to one of the two schools or a mix of them!

  2. Is logic’s goal is proving of truths of propositions? It is a logic of very narrow scope. It is not applicable to real world, it is only applicable in the domain of math and computer languages. God is a concept rather than object. Indian Logic has no doubt about logic because the word exists. Concepts have as much reality as objects. Does infinity or do infinities exists in number systems? Proof is a concept of deductive logic and rational explanation or justification is the purpose of inductive and abductive logics. And there are many logics. The real question is “Does God exist in your world?” If He/She/It does not exist in your world is fine. God exists (Gods exist) in many worlds of many people, The trouble with atheists is that they are always willing to discuss about an entity that does not seem to exist in their world. Buddha’s approach is rational to the extent that God does not exist in his universe of discourse. He agrees on his bounded rationality

  4. I think you also have missed my discomfiture of having to answer a total stranger’s question on a difficult matter in an inconvenient time I have no quarrels with what you and prof Rajanikanth are saying

  5. The trouble is with GOD. We do not really have that concept. It is Christianity’s inroads into Our vocabulary.
