Bhakthi of Ethiopian students

with one comment

Yesterday I attended a prayer of meeting of the graduating students of Arbaminch University. They were singing in unison .It was melodiousThey were also dancing beutifully One of my administrative colleagues told me that the students were actually singing in praise of christ and expecting him to help them with easy questions and good grades.Students of Ethiopia are as muchBhakthulu ( devoted to God) as Students in India during Examination times!
THe police station of Arbaminch is also a place for public meetings. Police in Ethiopia have no work compared to Indian Policemen
THEY HAVE NO PROBLEMS WITH STUDENTS. The student community is a peaceful community unlike their counterparts elsewhere in the world. ONLY THING THAT UPSETS THEM IS WHEN THEY DO NOT GET GOOD GRADES AND THE TEACHER TELLS THEM THEIR ANSWERS ARE NOT CORRECT.
The expatriate teachers are sometimes advised by well wishing colleagues that their contracts may not get renewed unless they cooperate with the students and give them what they want.
Ofcourse a teacher may refuse to take the hint and still get his cotract renewed
