I am now in Africa

I have been invited by the Arba Minch (40 Springs) university to teach M.Sc. Engg students of Hydraulics and environmental engineering. I left India on 19th of October.I have been given accommodation close a few meters from my place of work. When there is power everything works.Ethiopia is a beautiful and peaceful country . This is the third timeI am in this country. Baboons and beautiful birds visit me every day. Baboons are very big and very shy.
My servant maid is well trained by the previous Indians She makes Sambar koora rice and Chapathis
Most of the servant maids go to night college to finish their 10th or teacher training program
. Mine is no exception
E teaching is being implemented here. They got full packages from MIT as Aid.
G students are provided enough computers

  1. Nice to hear of positive facets of Ethiopia. For a long time we were tired of Ethiopia famine victims but that was decades ago. Our international news rarely goes beyond US & UK
How bug is the Indian community there – in your town & Ethiopia
My only acquaintance with Africa is Cameroon on the West coast below Nigeria.
